Tonight imagine me gown and all

Frozen is one of my favorite disney princess movies. I really love the three newest movies (Tangled, Brave and Frozen) because I love the visual style and whole concept of the movies. Frozen's visual look is from 19th century Norway which I love so much! I live in Finland and I have been in Sweden like hundred times but I have never been in Norway. After seeing Frozen I got this horrible travel fever to go Norway. Pity that it's very expensive country but I have been think like a little bit longer weekend or something. 

Frozen is set in 1820-30s Norway when Norway was in union with Sweden (only ten years earlier Sweden had lost Finland to Russia) so the king was Swedish. Or well actually French because after Napoleonic wars Swedish royal house was change from Wasas to Bernadotte. I'm not sure why but I think the old king wasn't able to have children and because of the politic situation they pick Jean Baptiste Bernadotte to be heir to throne. He was one of the generals of Napoleon

I really love Anna's ball gown and the colors and the design of it were actually something that I think court woman would actually were in 1830s Sweden. So I really just change the model of the dress more 1830s. Royal court dress in Sweden was actually black and white so the bodice and the sleeves are representing that.
